Life and Legacy of Ahmad Dabbagh
Ahmad Dabbagh is a descendant of Imam Hasan al-Basri, with his family playing a major role in spreading Islam from Kashmir to Punjab in the 8th century. Born near Sumandri, he moved to Denmark at age 5 and began his Islamic education early, later studying in Pakistan, the UK, and the Middle East. He holds licenses in Islamic Sciences and has written several books. Alongside his religious education, he completed postgraduate studies and an MBA in the UK and worked in various professional sectors. He established educational and spiritual institutions worldwide, focusing on soul purification through the Prophetic Method. He actively engages in global travel, welfare work, and promotes the teachings of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama’ah, living with his family in Greater Manchester.

Established in 2011, the Dabbagh Welfare Trust is a UK-based NGO dedicated to alleviating global poverty through Prophetic principles. We transparently distribute Sadaqah, Zakat, and Lillah, responding to emergencies while ensuring discrimination-free aid. Donors are empowered to direct their contributions, guaranteeing that help reaches the most vulnerable communities effectively.
Despite widespread education and unprecedented access to information, young British Muslims often find wisdom elusive amidst modern distractions. The challenge isn’t a lack of intelligence, but rather the ability to filter information overload. Our goal is to move beyond mere facts, applying knowledge to cultivate wiser, healthier, and more meaningful lives.
Ja’amia Muhammadiyah offers accessible education in essential Islamic sciences, covering core subjects like Aqeedah, Fiqh, and Tajweed. Our curriculum prioritizes Da’wah and Tazkiyah, believing that academic knowledge (Ta’leem) must be paired with spiritual training (Tarbiyah). We aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who embody Islamic values through both learning and personal development.
